► Who whould do this course ?
- Anybody from the age of 10 can sign up to become a scuba diver. This course is the first half of the open water course and is designed for budget travelers or people short of time who want to get certified but don’t want to or can’t complete the full open water course . It is essentially a stepping stone towards the full open water cert.
► How long will it take me and what does it involve?
- This course can be completed in a day and a half and it involves some theory i.e.. the first 3 chapters of the open water course , Some confined water (pool or pool like) skills training and the first 2 open water dives.
► The cost.
-this course has a cost of $220 USD which includes all materials , equipment and as the online certification as a scuba diver at the end of your course. Tax not included.
► What can I do after obtaining this certification?
- As a scuba diver you will be able to go diving accompanied by a PADI pro (instructor or dive master) to depth not exceeding 12 meters/ 40 ft . Your certification will never expire although a refresh is recommended after an extensive period of inactivity This certification is recognized world wide. Your only limitation as a scuba diver is the depth as some dive sites may be deeper in which case open water certification would be necessary.
► Whats next?
-Your next step would be completing the other half of the open water course and thereby obtaining your full open water cert which will allow dive to be made up to 18m /60ft as wells not limiting you to dive with a PADI pro but simple with a buddy of any certification level
