The SSI Night Diver Course introduces certified divers to the exciting world of scuba diving after sunset. Experience the reef in a completely different way as nocturnal marine life becomes active and familiar dive sites transform under the beam of your dive light.
During this specialty course, you will learn how to safely plan and conduct night dives while improving your underwater navigation and communication skills in low-light conditions.
Complete your Night Diver certification in Roatan and discover a whole new side of the Caribbean reef system.

The Night Diver Course is perfect for certified divers who want to expand their diving experience and gain confidence diving at night.
If you enjoy adventure, marine life, and exploring the reef from a completely different perspective, this course is highly recommended. Divers must already hold an Open Water certification or equivalent certification from a recognized agency.

The SSI Night Diver Specialty Course combines academic sessions with practical open water training dives conducted at night.
You will learn:

What can I do once I've completed the course?
Once certified as an SSI Night Diver, you will be qualified to safely participate in night dives anywhere in the world within the limits of your certification level.
Night diving opens the door to entirely new underwater experiences, including observing octopus, lobsters, crabs, sleeping fish, bioluminescence, and other nocturnal marine life rarely seen during the day.
Many divers consider night diving to be one of the most exciting and unforgettable scuba experiences available.
This specialty certification can also count toward the SSI Advanced Adventurer or Specialty Diver recognition programs.
