This course is considered by many divers to be one of the most challenging yet most rewarding courses taken. A huge part of becoming a rescue diver is becoming more confident in your own diving abilities thus being able to prevent and manage problems in and out of water more confidently and effectively. You will learn by practicing problem solving skills with a buddy until they are mastered and become second nature.
How long will it take me and what does it involve?
This course has a minimum time requirement of 2 days although it might be wise to do it over three to insure mastery of all attributes. The Rescue Diver course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development and rescue exercises, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills.

This program has a cost of $400 which includes all equipment as well as online certification. Tax not included
What can I do after obtaining this certification?
Becoming a rescue diver puts you just one certification away from becoming a Divemaster the first profesional level as a diver. You will also now be a much more confident and responsible diver, many other divers will look to you in emergence scenarios and using your knowledge base you should be able to respond in the correct manner, possible saving lives.
Whats next?
The next step is becoming a dive master the first pro level as a diver alternatively you could opt to become a Master Scuba Diver which is the highest recreational level achievable as a diver.
